AN ACT to validate certain Rates made by the Cottesloe Beach Local Board of Health (formerly called the Buckland Hill Local Board of Health).

[Assented to 16th February, 1911.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and	Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia-
ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.

Subject as hereinafter provided all rates or alleged rates purporting to have been heretofore made or struck by the Cottesloe Beach Local Board of Health (whether under its present name or under the name of the Buckland Hill Local Board of Health) shall be deemed to have been lawfully made or struck, and in any action or proceeding by or on behalf of the said Board for the recovery of any amount in respect of any such rates or alleged rates the person sued or proceeded against shall not be permitted to raise as a defence any failure to comply with any Statutory provisions in respect of any such rates or alleged rates: Provided that the making or striking thereof was in fact assented to by a majority of the members present at a meeting of the said Board, and that the said Board had power to make or strike the same.

2.      This Act may be cited as the Cottesloe Beach Health Rates
