Corrective Services (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) Amendment Regulation 2018 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Corrective Services (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) Amendment Regulation 2018.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 15 February 2018.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Corrective Services Regulation 2017.

4   Amendment of s 19 (Prohibited things—Act, s 123)

(1)Section 19, before paragraph (za)—
insert—

(zaa)a remotely piloted aircraft;

(zab)a device for remotely piloting, or otherwise controlling, a remotely piloted aircraft;

(2)Section 19(za), ‘(z)’—
omit, insert—

(zab)

(3)Section 19—
insert—

(2)In this section—

remotely piloted aircraft means an aircraft that—

(a)is—

(i)remotely piloted or otherwise controlled; or

(ii)able to be programmed to independently fly a particular route; and

(b)can not carry a person.
