This regulation may be cited as the Corrective Services (Establishment of Prisons) Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 1996 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 January 1997. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the CorrectiveServices(EstablishmentofPrisons) Regulation 1992 . ˙ Replacement of s 2 (Place no longer a prison) 4. Section 2— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Places no longer prisons ‘ 2. The Moreton Correctional Centre and the Wacol Correctional Centre as in existence on 31 December 1996 are places declared to no longer be prisons.’. ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Reference to plans) 5. Section 4, ‘Department of Lands’— omit, insert — ‘department in which the Land Title Act 1994 is administered’. ˙ Insertion of new s 5 6. After section 4— insert —

The order in council made under the Act and published in the gazette on 24 June 1989 at pages 1809 and 1810 is repealed.’. ˙ Amendment of schedule (Places declared to be prisons and names assigned) 7. Schedule, item 6— omit, insert — ‘Lot 631 on plan SL 813382, county of Stanley, parish of South Brisbane and lot 487 on plan SL 12664, county of Stanley, parish of South Brisbane, other than lot D on CP 854829 and lot E on CP 901771.
