s1 2 s3 Corrective Services Amendment (No. 1) No. 262, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Corrective Services Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Corrective Services Regulation 1989 . ˙ Insertion of new Pt 2A (Regional Community Corrections Boards) 3. After Part 2— insert— ‘PART 2A—REGIONAL COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARDS ˙ ‘Establishment of regional community corrections boards for North Queensland ‘20A.(1) A regional community corrections board is established for each of the areas of the State specified in Part 1 of Schedule 2. ‘(2) The name assigned to the board established for each area is the name set out opposite each area in the Schedule. ˙ ‘Establishment of regional community corrections boards for South Queensland ‘20B.(1) The regional community corrections boards named in Part 2 of Schedule 2 are established for the area specified in that Part of the Schedule. ‘(2) To remove any doubt, each of the boards may exercise its powers in relation to the whole of the area. ˙ ‘Transitional ‘20C. Despite sections 20A and 20B, a person who was a member of a board established under the Corrective Services (Regional Community Correction Boards) Order 1992 immediately before the commencement of

After the Schedule— insert— ‘SCHEDULE 2 ‘REGIONAL COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS BOARDS sections 20A and 20B ‘PART 1—NORTH QUEENSLAND REGIONAL CORRECTIONS BOARDS Area of the State Name assigned to the board 1. The part of the State north of North Queensland Regional latitude 18° south Community Corrections Board 2. The part of the State south of latitude 18° south and north of latitude 21° south, and the City of Mackay Townsville Regional Community Corrections Board 3. The part of the State (other than the City of Mackay) south of latitude 21° south and north of latitude 25° south Rockhampton Regional Community Corrections Board
