I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 48 of the Corrections Act 1997 .6 June 2005

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Corrections (Interstate Leave of Absence - ACT) Order 2005 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Interstate lawsFor the purposes of Part 6 of the Corrections Act 1997 , the Prisoners’ Interstate Leave Act 1997 of the Australian Capital Territory is declared to be an interstate law.
