1999 No 57—Proclamation

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Correctional Centres Legislation Amendment (Assumed Identities) Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 2000 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 2) commences.

Explanatory note

This proclamation commences the provisions of the Correctional Centres Legislation Amendment (Assumed Identities) Act 1999 other than those that amend the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999 which is not yet in force.
