Corporations Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Corporations Act 1989.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Corporations Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule 11 (RECOGNISED FUTURES EXCHANGES UNDER PARAGRAPH 9 (b) OF THE CORPORATIONS LAW)

2.1   Omit from the heading of Schedule 11 “RECOGNISED FUTURES EXCHANGES UNDER PARAGRAPH 9 (b) OF THE CORPORATIONS LAW”, substitute “Recognised Futures Exchanges”.

2.2   Omit “Deutsche Terminborse”, substitute “Deutsche Terminbörse (German Futures Exchange) (DTB)”.

2.3   Insert in the list in Schedule 11 each of the following names of futures exchanges in the appropriate alphabetical position determined on a letter-by-letter basis:

“Belgium Futures and Options Exchange (Belfox)

Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros (Commodities & Futures Exchange, Brazil) (BM & F)

European Options Exchange (EOE)

Financial Futures Exchange Barcelona (MFB)

Financial Futures Exchange Madrid (MFM)

Italian Futures Exchange (MIF)

Mercados de Futuros Financieros, SA (Spanish Financial Futures Market) (MEFFSA)

OM Stockholm AB”.
