Corporations Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Corporations Act 1989.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Corporations Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 2D.1.01 (Prescribed authorities (Law, s 229 (4))

3.1   Paragraph 2D.1.01 (c):

Omit “Superintendent”, substitute “general manager, as defined in section 10 of the Corrective Services Act 1988 of Queensland,”.

4.   Regulation 9.5.01 (Prescribed functions (Law, s 1345A (1))

4.1   Paragraph 9.5.01 (b):

Omit the paragraph.

5.   Schedule 6, Part 3 (Restricted words and phrases)

5.1   Item 6317:

Omit the item, substitute:

“6317	R.S.L.
6317A	RSL”.

6.   Schedule 6, Part 4 (Consent required to use restricted words and phrases)

6.1   Item 6404:

Omit the item.
