Corporations (New South Wales) Act 1990

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Corporations (New South Wales) Act 1990.

The Trustee Companies Act 1964 contains references to the Corporate Affairs Commission. Section 96 of the Corporations (New South Wales) Act 1990 provides for the making of regulations that relate to the construction of a reference to the Commission. The object of this Regulation is to provide for the construction of a reference to the Commission in section 31C (Orders where prohibited acquisitions take place) of the Trustee Companies Act 1964 as a reference to the Director-General of the Attorney General's Department. In addition, the Regulation omits a similar construction in relation to a provision (section 29D (2) (a)) that has been amended by an Act.

This Regulation is made under the Corporations (New South Wales) Act

1990, including section 80.
