Corporations (Fees) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the
Dated 16 November 1995.

1.1 These Regulations commence on 9 December 1995.
2.1 The Corporations (Fees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
3.1 Part 1 (paragraph (c) of the definition of “special purpose company”):
Omit “an exempt proprietary company”, substitute “a proprietary company other than a company to which item 7A or 7B applies”.
3.2 Part 2, paragraph (b) of item 7:
Omit “an exempt proprietary company referred to in paragraph (c)”, substitute “a special purpose company”.
3.3 Part 2, item 7:
Add at the end “other than a return referred to in item 7A or 7B”.
3.4 After item 7, insert:
“7A | On lodging the annual return of a proprietary company that was registered during the period commencing on 1 July and ending at the end of 31 December in a year, if the annual return is for the calendar year in which the company was registered | no fee |
7B | On lodging the annual return of a proprietary company if:
| no fee”. |
3.5 Part 2, item 33:
Omit “a director, secretary or principal executive officer”, substitute “a director or secretary”.
