I, PROFESSOR MARIE BASHIR, AC, CVO, Deputy for the Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Corporations Act 2001.

  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Corporations Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 7).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence as follows:

(a)on 1 July 2007— regulations 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

(b)on the commencement of the Corporations Legislation Amendment (Simpler Regulatory System) Act 2007 — regulation 4 and Schedule 2.

  1. Amendment of Corporations Regulations 2001

Schedule 1 amends the Corporations Regulations 2001.

  1. Amendment of Corporations Regulations 2001

Schedule 2 amends the Corporations Regulations 2001.

Schedule 1          Amendment commencing on 1 July 2007

2E.1.01Small amounts given to related entity

For subsection 213 (1) of the Act, $5 000 is prescribed.
