7.1.03Option contract — prescribed indexes

 For subparagraph (b) (ii) of the definition of option contract in section 9 of the Act:

• (a)

  the indexes mentioned in Schedule 8B are prescribed; and

• (b)

  a calculation of an index mentioned in Schedule 8B using the method used to determine the number of that prescribed index (but using different prices of the constituent components of that prescribed index in applying that method) is prescribed.
