I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following regulation under the Corporations Act 2001.

  1. Name of regulation

This regulation is the Corporations Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 7).

  1. Commencement

This regulation commences on the day after it is registered.

  1. Amendment of Corporations Regulations 2001

Schedule 1 amends the Corporations Regulations 2001.

Schedule 1          Amendment

(section 3)

[1]          Paragraph 2C.1.03 (d), including the note

substitute

(d)making an offer that satisfies paragraphs 1019D (1) (a) to (d) of the Act;

(e)making an invitation that, were it an offer to purchase a financial product, would be an offer that satisfies paragraphs 1019D (1) (a) to (d) of the Act.
