Part 1—Preliminary
1—Short title
These regulations may be cited as the Coroners (Fees) Variation Regulations 2011.
2—Commencement
These regulations will come into operation on 1 July 2011.
3—Variation provisions
In these regulations, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of specified regulations varies the regulations so specified.
Part 2—Variation of Coroners Regulations 2005
4—Substitution of Schedule 1
Schedule 1—delete the Schedule and substitute:

Fees under section 37

For each application to inspect a record or any other documentary or evidentiary material
$17.40

For a copy of—
(a) the transcript of evidence; or
(b) the findings and any recommendations of the Court; or
(c) an order made by the Court
$6.80 per page
Note—
1 copy will be supplied to a person who appears before the Court under section 20 of the Act free of charge.

For a copy of any other document
$4.20 per page

For a copy of a computer disc containing the record of court proceedings (including findings on inquest)
the fee that would be payable under these regulations for a printed copy of the transcript of evidence plus $108.00 for each day or part of a day on which the proceedings were recorded
Note—
As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
