CORONERS (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993 NO 79—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Coroners (Amendment) Act 1993, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 2 February 1998 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This proclamation commences the following previously uncommenced amendments

made by the Coroners (Amendment) Act 1993:
Schedule 1 (8)-(14), (16), ( 1 7 ) (c) and (d), so much of (1 7) (e) as would insert the
proposed section 12A of the Coroners Act 1980, (35) (c), 36 (a), (37), (39) (a) and (b),

(44), and Schedule 2 (2) (b) and (3).
