An Ordinance to amend the Coroners Ordinance 1956

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Coroners (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.1

Commencement

2.  This Ordinance shall come into operation on such date as is fixed by the Minister of State for Territories by notice in the Gazette.

Recording of proceedings

3.  Section 29 of the Coroners Ordinance 19562 is amended by omitting paragraph (2) (c) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(c)sub-section 54A (5A) applies as if the proceedings at an inquest or inquiry were proceedings referred to in that sub-section;”.
