AN ACT to amend the Coroners Act, 1920.

13 E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative
this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows:-
1. This Act may be cited as the Coroners Act Amendment short title.
Act, 1921, and shall be read as one with the Coroners Act,
1920, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

omitting the words "by the Attorney General." in the inter-
pretation of the word "Coroner" and inserting in place thereof the words "under section five"; and by adding to the section a paragraph as follows:
In the case of a vacancy in the office of the Attorney General, this Act shall have effect as if the words "Min- ister for Justice" were inserted in place of the words "Attorney General" wherever those words appear.
3. Section five of the principal Act is amended, by insert- Amendment of

Section forty-one of the principal. Act is amended, by omitting the figure " (i)" and the word "and" in the proviso to subsection (1), and by omitting the paragraph (ii) of the said proviso.

All copies of the principal Act hereafter printed by the Government Printer shall be printed, under the supervision of the Clerk of Parliaments, as amended by this Act, and all necessary references to this Act shall be made in the margin.
