Restriction of importation into Australia of copyright material

(1)

A person who, under subsection 135 (2) of the Act, has given a notice to the CEO objecting to the importation of copies of copyright material must, as and when required by the CEO, give to the CEO any information and evidence the CEO requires in order to be satisfied about:

(a)

the subsistence of copyright in the material; and

(b)

the ownership of the copyright; and

(c)

if the notice is given by a person as an agent for the owner of the copyright — the authority of the person to give the notice.

(2) In this regulation, CEO has the same meaning as in

Division 7 of Part V of the Act.
