The following local environmental plan is made by the local plan-making authority under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Cootamundra Local Environmental Plan 2013 (Amendment No 6).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to land to which Cootamundra Local Environmental Plan 2013 applies.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Cootamundra Local Environmental Plan 2013 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the local plan-making authority on the making of this Plan.

Amendment of Cootamundra Local

Environmental Plan 2013

[1]      Clause 2.1 Land use zones

Insert “B6 Enterprise Corridor” in appropriate order under the heading Business Zones.

[2]      Land Use Table

Insert after Zone B3 Commercial Core:

Zone B6 Enterprise Corridor

1         Objectives of zone

To promote businesses along main roads and to encourage a mix of compatible uses.

To provide a range of employment uses (including business, office, retail and light industrial uses).

To maintain the economic strength of centres by limiting retailing activity.

To maintain the operation and function of the Olympic Highway.

To facilitate the development of large-scale business premises that do not detract from the core commercial functions of the Cootamundra central business district.

2         Permitted without consent

3         Permitted with consent

Aquaculture; Bulky goods premises; Business premises; Community facilities; Garden centres; Hardware and building supplies; Hotel or motel accommodation; Landscaping material supplies; Light industries; Liquid fuel depots; Neighbourhood shops; Passenger transport facilities; Plant nurseries; Take away food and drink premises; Timber yards; Warehouse or distribution centres; Any other development not specified in item 2 or 4

4         Prohibited

Agriculture; Air transport facilities; Airstrips; Animal boarding or training establishments; Camping grounds; Caravan parks; Cemeteries; Correctional centres; Crematoria; Eco-tourist facilities; Electricity generating works
