2 Cooperative Housing Societies Model Rules Amendment (No. 1) No. 96, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Cooperative Housing Societies Model Rules Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Co-operative Housing Societies Model Rules Regulation 1958 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.1 (Citation and Interpretation) 3. Section 1— omit from ‘1. These Regulations ’ to ‘ subject-matter. ’, insert— ‘1.(1) This regulation may be cited as the Cooperative Housing Societies Model Rules Regulation 1958 . ‘(2) In this regulation— ’. ˙ Amendment of s.23 4. Section 23(1)— omit, insert— ‘23.(1) A member must hold at least 1 share in the society. ‘(1A) A member may not hold more than 1 100 shares in the society. ‘(1B) A member also may not hold more than 20% of the shares in the society. ’.
