Conveyancing (General) Amendment
(Prescribed Authorities) Regulation 2015

Conveyancing Act 1919
His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Conveyancing Act 1919.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:
| (a) | to prescribe Snowy Hydro Limited and NBN Co Limited as prescribed authorities for the purposes of section 88A of the Conveyancing Act 1919 (the Act) so that an easement without a dominant tenement may be created in favour of those corporations if the easement is for the purpose of, or incidental to, the supply of a utility service to the public, and |
| (b) | to prescribe Snowy Hydro Limited as a prescribed authority for the purposes of section 88D of the Act so that it may, by a relevant order, impose restrictions on the use of or impose public positive covenants on any prescribed land vested in it. |
This Regulation is made under the Conveyancing Act 1919, including sections 88A, 88D and 202 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Conveyancing (General) Amendment (Prescribed Authorities)
Regulation 2015.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Conveyancing (General) Regulation 2013
(1) Clause 49 Easements in gross Insert after clause 49 (1) (ad):
(ae) Snowy Hydro Limited (ACN 090 574 431), (af) NBN Co Limited (ACN 136 533 741).
(2) Clause 50 Imposition of restrictions or public positive covenants on certain land
vested in prescribed authoritiesInsert after clause 50 (j):
