Conveyancing (General) Amendment

(Prescribed Authorities) Regulation 2014

Conveyancing Act 1919

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Conveyancing Act 1919.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe GSP Energy Pty Limited, Optus Mobile Pty Limited and Optus Networks Pty Limited as prescribed authorities for the purposes of section 88A of the Conveyancing Act 1919 so that easements without a dominant tenement may be created in favour of those corporations if the easements are for the purpose of, or incidental to, the supply of a utility service to the public.

This Regulation is made under the Conveyancing Act 1919, including sections 88A and 202 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Conveyancing (General) Amendment (Prescribed Authorities)
Regulation 2014.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Insert after clause 49 (1) (z):

(aa) GSP Energy Pty Limited (ACN 101 038 386),
(ab) Optus Mobile Pty Limited (ACN 054 365 696),
(ac) Optus Networks Pty Limited (ACN 008 570 330).
