Regulation under the Conveyancing Act 1919.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe Optus Fixed Infrastructure Pty Limited as a prescribed authority for the purposes of section 88A of the Conveyancing Act 1919 so that easements without dominant tenements may be created in favour of that corporation. Any such easements may be created in favour of

the corporation only if they are for the purpose of, or incidental to, the supply of a utility service to the
public.

This Regulation is made under the Conveyancing Act 1919, including sections 88A and 202 (the general regulation-making power).
