Conveyancing Amendment Regulations 2007

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Conveyancing Act 2004 .23 July 2007

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Conveyancing Amendment Regulations 2007 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Conveyancing Regulations 2005 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 5 amended (Qualifications and experience) Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by inserting the following subparagraphs after subparagraph (vi) in paragraph (a) : (vii) a course relating to Tasmanian local requirements, as the Director may from time to time determine; (viii) successful completion of an examination for conveyancers set by the Director; and (b) by omitting from paragraph (a)(vi) "and" third occurring; (c) by omitting from paragraph (b)(ii) "Territory; and" and substituting "Territory."; (d) by omitting paragraph (c) .
