Conveyancers Licensing Amendment

(Approved Professional Indemnity Insurance

Policy) Order 2015

under the

Conveyancers Licensing Act 2003

I, the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation, in pursuance of clause 6 (2) (a) of the

Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 2006, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to provide that the specified policies of professional indemnity insurance of Vero Insurance and Allianz Australia Limited are approved by the Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation from 1 July 2015 until 30 June 2016 for the purposes of clause 6 (2) (a) of the Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 2006, which requires a licensee to be insured under an approved policy.
This Order is made under clause 6 (2) (a) of the Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 2006.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Conveyancers Licensing Amendment (Approved Professional
Indemnity Insurance Policy) Order 2015.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2015 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Conveyancers Licensing Order 2006

Clause 6

Omit the clause. Insert instead:

6      Approved policies of professional indemnity insurance

The following policies covering the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016 are approved for the purposes of clause 6 (2) (a) of the Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 2006:

(a)	the master policy of professional indemnity insurance (Policy Number LPS011195725) of AAI Limited (trading as Vero Insurance) and Allianz Australia Limited,
(b)	the aggregate infill policy of professional indemnity insurance (Policy Number LPS017290468) of AAI Limited (trading as Vero Insurance).
