Conveyancers Licensing Act 1995

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Conveyancers Licensing Act 1995.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to increase the application fee for a licence and the sections 87 (Register of licensees) and 91 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Conveyancers Licensing Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 2001.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 31 March 2001.

3 Amendment of Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 1993

The Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 1993 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

[1]     Clause 7 Application fee for licence

Omit “$180” from clause 7 (1) and (2) wherever occurring.
Insert instead “$192”.

[2]     Clause 11 Register of licensees

Omit “$21”. Insert instead “$22”.
