REGULATIONS UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1934.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1934.

Amendments of the Control of Defence Areas Regulations. 

Amendment of Schedule.

1. Table I. in the Schedule to the Control of Defence Areas Regulations is amended as follows:—

(a) by omitting from PART I.—NORTHERN TERRITORY the sub-heading Darwin and the particulars shown thereunder, and inserting in their stead the following subheading and particulars:—

“Darwin.

The areas delineated and marked by oblique, by horizontal and by cross hachuring, respectively, on Plan No. 1, entitled Darwin (Northern Territory) Defence Area, appearing on page 536 of Commonwealth Gazette No. 17 of the fifth day of April, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.”;

(b) by inserting in PART II.—QUEENSLAND—

(i) after the sub-heading Archerfield and the particulars shown thereunder, the following subheading and particulars:—

“Cairns.

3. Table III. in the Schedule to the Control of Defence Areas Regulations is amended as follows:—
