therefore enacted by the Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty , by and w i t h t h e advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Counci l a n d Legis la t ive

1. This A c t shall be called and m a y be cited as t h e " Contractors

| 2. The provisions of t he " Contractors Deb t s A c t " shal l | app ly |
a n d ex tend to all sums found due and payable b y the defendant in any proceeding a t law in any Cour t hav ing compe ten t jur i sd ic t ion for mater ia l , or for mater ia l and work and labour supplied and provided b y t h e plaintiff, as well as for work and labour alone, and the l ike orders, j u d g m e n t s , notices, certificates, discharges, and other remedies as provided a n d set forth in such A c t shal l be appl icable to all such sums as if specifically ment ioned in the said A c t .
