CONTAMINATED LAND MANAGEMENT ACT 1997 NO 140 - PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South

Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1999 as the day on which section 60 of that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence section 60 of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997 (the remaining uncommenced provision of that Act), which creates offences relating to the failure to report contamination of land to the Environment Protection Authority.
