(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 June 1998 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a)	Parts 1, 4, 8 and 10,
(b)	sections 101, 103, 105, 108 and 110-116,
(c)	Schedule 1.3 [3] and [4] and 1.5,
(d)	clauses 1 and 5 of Schedule 2.
