Consumer Credit (Tasmania) (Jurisdiction of Courts) Amendment Regulations 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under section 10 of the Consumer Credit (Tasmania) Act 1996 .29 September 2003

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Consumer Credit (Tasmania) (Jurisdiction of Courts) Amendment Regulations 2003 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Consumer Credit (Tasmania) (Jurisdiction of Courts) Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Jurisdiction of Courts) Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting ", a Court of Requests or the Magistrates Court (Small Claims Division)" from the definition of the Court in subregulation (1) and substituting "or the Magistrates Court"; (b) by omitting "Magistrates Court (Small Claims Division)" from the definition of the Court in subregulation (3) and substituting "Magistrates Court".
