CONSUMER CREDIT (NEW SOUTH WALES) ACT 1995

NO 7—PROCLAMATION

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Consumer Credit (New South Wales) Act 1995, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 November 1996 as the day on which that Act commences.

Note. The above proclamation will apply the Consumer Credit Code (set out in the Consumer Credit (Queensland) Act 1994 of Queensland) as the law of New South Wales, with effect from 1 November 1996. That date has been appointed as the date of commencement of the Queensland Act (see Queensland Gazette of 28 June 1996).
