AN ACT to amend the Consumer Affairs Act

1971-1981.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Consumer gargtttlieon

Affairs Amendment Act (No. 2) 1982.

(2) In this Act the Consumer Affairs Act 1971- PP ',Zdir July 1977 and

1981 is referred to as the principal Act.

Section 25

25. A member of the Committee, the Com- missioner and any officer of the Bureau is not personally liable, and the Crown in right of the State is not liable, for any

(a) act done;

(b) statement issued;

advice, assistance or information

given;

(d) default or omission made,

by the Committee, the Commissioner, or an officer of the Bureau in good faith in the course of the operations of the Committee or of the Bureau. " .
