Construction Industry Portable Paid Long

Service Leave Amendment Regulations 2011

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.           Citation

These regulations are the Construction Industry Portable Paid
Long Service Leave Amendment Regulations 2011.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a) regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations - on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Construction Industry Portable
Paid Long Service Leave Regulations 1986.

4.            Regulation 5A replaced

Delete regulation 5A and insert:

Act 1997 (Tasmania);
5A. Prescribed corresponding laws

Each of the following laws is prescribed as a corresponding law for the purposes of section 29A of the Act -

(a)

the Building and Construction Industry Long Service Payments Act 1986 (New South Wales);

(b)

the Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 1991 (Queensland);

(c)

the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act 1997 (Victoria);

(d) the Construction Industry (Long Service)

(e)

the Construction Industry Long Service Leave and Benefits Act (Northern Territory);

(0 the Construction Industry Long Service Leave

Act 1987 (South Australia);

(g) the Long Service Leave (Portable Schemes)

Act 2009 (Australian Capital Territory) except to the extent to which it does not relate to the construction industry.

5. Regulation 8 amended
In regulation 8 delete "2.25%" and insert:
