Constitutional Legislation (Repeal) Act 1985 (NSW)

An Act to repeal the Constitutional Powers (New South Wales) Act 1978 and to annul the Privy Council Appeals Abolition Bill 1979.

1Name of Act

This Act may be cited as the Constitutional Legislation (Repeal) Act 1985.

2Repeal of Act No 130, 1978

The Constitutional Powers (New South Wales) Act 1978 is repealed.

3Annulment of Privy Council Appeals Abolition Bill 1979

The passage of the Privy Council Appeals Abolition Bill 1979 through the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council of New South Wales during the forty-sixth Parliament is annulled and the Bill has no force or effect.
