The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to increase the amount of annual salary payable to future Governors as a consequence of their salary being subject to income tax.

2. Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

3. Amendment of section 7

See:

(1) In section 7(1) of the Constitution Act 1975, the Act No.
