Constitution (Duration of Legislative Assembly) Referendum 1615Act 1990, No. 96 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Constitution (Duration of Legislative Assembly) Referendum Act 1990. 2. Referendum Bill. In accordance with section 4 of The Constitution Act Amendment Act of 1934, the Bill intituled "A Bill to extend the maximum term of future Parliaments from 3 to 4 years" is to be submitted for the approval or otherwise of the electors qualified to vote for the election of members of the Legislative Assembly. 3. Manner of conducting referendum . The vote for the purpose of section 2 is to be taken under the Referendums Act 1989
