CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT

ACT

No. 51 of 1987

AN ACT to amend the Constitution Act 1889.

[Assented to 30 October 1987]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Constitution Amendment Act 1987.

Commencement

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

Section 34 amended

3. Section 34 of the Constitution Act 1889* is amended by deleting "; and all such Rules and Orders shall by the said Council and Assembly respectively be laid before the Governor, and being by him approved shall become binding and of force".
