No. 8 of 1983.

AN ACT to amend the Constitution Acts Amendment

Act 1899-1981.

[Assented to 29 September 1983.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Constitution

Amendment Act 1983.

(2) In this Act the Constitution Acts Amendment

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Amendment Act 1899-1983.

This Act shall come into operation on a day

to be fixed by proclamation.

Section 7

amended.

3.

Section 7 of the principal Act is amended by

deleting "and is a natural born or naturalised

subject of Her Majesty the Queen".

Section 20

amended.

4.

Section 20 of the principal Act is amended by

deleting "and is a natural born or naturalised

subject of Her Majesty the Queen".
