PART I.-PRELIMINARY. Short title. 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as " The Oonstitution Acts Amendment Act of 1950." The words "one thousand and fifty" are repealed where those words appear three times and, in every such case, the words "one thousand three hundred and seventy-five" are inserted in lieu of such repealed words. (ii.) The words "one thousand five hundred and fifty" are repealed and the words "one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five" are inserted in lieu of such repealed words. (ill.) The words" one thousand one hundred and fifty" are repealed and the words "one thousand four hundred and seventy-five" are inserted in lieu of such repealed words. (b) In Schedule I. thereof- (i.) The figures " 1,800" are repealed and the figures "2,125" are inserted in lieu of such repealed figures. (ii.) An Act to Amend "The Governor's Salary Acts, THE GOVERNOR'S 1872 to 1949," in a certain particular. SALARY AOTS AMENDMENT ACT OF 1951. [RESERVED: HIS MAJESTY'S ASSENT PROCLAIMED: 16TH APRIL, 1951.J -BE it enacted by the King's J\'Iost Excellent .Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative .Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title and con- struction. Collective title. 1. This Act may be cited as "The Governor's Salary Acts Amendment Act of 1951," and shall be read as one with t" The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1949," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1951." Repeal of and new B.4A. Amount of salary. 2. Section 4A of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is inserted in lieu thereof, namely:- " [4A.] The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be, on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, at the rate of three thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund which is hereby appropriated accordingly." * 60 V. No. 3 and amending Acts. t 36V. No. 9 and amending Act.
