AN ACT to amend the Constitution Acts Amendment

Act, 1899-1958.

[Reserved 10th December, 1959.]

(Royal Assent Proclaimed 16th March, 1960.)

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation.

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Amendment Act (No. 3), 1959.

In this Act the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899-1958, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899-1959.

2. Schedule IV. of the principal Act is amended— 2=7.

(a)

by inserting after the word, "thereafter" in line three of the second paragraph under the heading, "Governor" the passage, "until and including the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine, and for the period commencing on the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine, and ending on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-nine";

(b)

by adding after the second paragraph under the heading, "Governor" the follow- ing paragraph

For the period commencing on the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixty, and ending on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixty, and for the year commencing on the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixty, and for each year thereafter, at the rate per annum of
