AN ACT to amend the Constitution Acts

Amendment Act, 1899-1954.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

anti citation 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Constitution

Acts Amendment Act, (No. 3), 1955.

(2) In this Act the Constitution Acts Amendment

Act, 1899-1954,

Act 63 Victoriae No. 19 as amended from time to time,

is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899-1955.

2. Section forty-five of the principal Act is S. 45	amended.

(a)	by deleting the words, "in every year" in 119(34.9111
line one; and No. 2 of

1950, s. 2.

(b) by substituting for the passage, "an amount not exceeding that shown as the total of the several sums set forth in that Schedule at the rate per annum specified in that Schedule and the said several sums", the passage, "the amounts prescribed in that Schedule which amounts shall be payable, and".

3. Schedule IV. of the principal Act is repealed Schedule V.	repealed and
re-enacted as
