No. 12 of 1948.

AN ACT to amend sections thirty-seven and thirty- eight of the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899.

[Assented to 11th November, 1948.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Short title.

Amendment Act (No. 1), 1948, and shall be read as one

with the Constitution Acts Amendment Act, 1899 (63 Vict., No. 19), and its amendments, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2.    Section thirty-seven of the principal Act is s. 37.
