No. 2 of 1947.
AN ACT to amend section thirty-seven of the Consti-
tution Acts Amendment Act, 1899 (63 Vier. 19).
[Assented to 26th September, 1947.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
| 1. This Act may be cited as the Constitution Acts Amendment Act (No. 1), 1947, and shall be read as one | Short title. |

| Viet., 19), as amended by Act No. 25 of 1927, hereinafter | 1927. |

2. Section thirty-seven of the principal Act is amended Metent
by deleting the word "six" in the first line of the proviso
and substituting the word "eight."
3. This Act shall be deemed to have had effect on Retrospec-
