VII, An Act to Reduoe the Salaries of the Governor and :!' of his Private Secretary respeotively. CONSTITUTION ] ACT OF 1867 [ASSENTED TO BY MESSAGE, 12TH SEPTEMBER, 1905. AMENDMENT AOT OF 1905. WHEREAS it has become desirable to alter and reduce Preamble. the salary of the Governor of Queensland and the salary payable to the said Governor's Private Secretary; Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, a& follows :- Short title, 1. This Act may be cited as "The Oonstitution Act of 1867 Amendment Act of 1~ 05," Salary of Governor and Private Secretary. 2. From and after the commencement of this Act, the salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be at the rate of three thousand pounds per annum; and the salary of the Governor's Private Secretary shall be at the rate of three hundred pounds per annum.
