[ASSENTED TO 12TH DEOEMBER, 1935.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty) by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. This Act may be cited as " The Constitution Act Short title. Amendment Act of 1935." 2. Any person who was formerly an existing Restoration member of the Legislative Council as at the date of the of . c~ tain Proclamation of His Majesty's Assent to *" The ~ ?;or~: ! Constitution Act Amendment Act of 1922" (which Act ~ ehbers abolished the said Legislative Council) shall, notwith- ~ e; isrative standing any Act or law or rule or process of law to the Oouncil. contrary, be entitled to enjoy such privileges as were enjoyed by such existing members of the Legislative Council subsequent to the date of the aforesaid Proclama- tion and prior to the passing of t" The Constitution Act Amendment Act of 1929, No. 2," and without limiting such privileges shall, by virtue of this Act, be entitled to receive and have issued to him on the passing of this Act a free pass, during his lifetime, upon the railways of the State of Queensland, and shall be entitled to exercise the use of the parliamentary library. t" 3;, The Constitution Act Amendment Act of 1929, ~ ! ; : of No. 2, IS hereby repealed.
