CONSTITUTION ACT 1902—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 49 of the Constitution Act 1902, do, by this my Proclamation, with effect on and from 1 November 1991:

(a)

change the name of the Probation and Parole Service to the Community Corrections Service and remove it from the Department of Corrective Services and add it to the Department of Courts Administration;

(b)

remove from the Department of Corrective Services the Juvenile Justice Division and establish it as an Administrative Office (with the name “Office of Juvenile Justice”) responsible to the Minister for Justice.
