CONSTITUTION ACT 1902 - PROCLAMATION
NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 49 of the Constitution Act 1902, do, by this my Proclamation:
change the name of the Ministry of School Education and Youth Affairs to the "Ministry of Education, Youth and Women's Affairs";
establish, as a part of the Department of Further Education, Training and Employment, the Technical and Further Education Authority and transfer to that Authority all branches of that Department in existence immediately before the commencement of this Proclamation (those branches comprised the former Department of Technical and Further Education);
remove the Adult Migration Education Service, and the group of staff principally involved with the Board of Adult Education, from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Women's Affairs and add them to the Department of Further Education, Training and Employment;
Industrial Relations and add them to the Department of Further Education, Training and Employment: remove the following branches from the Department of

Division of Corporate Services
Division of Information Services
Division of Financial Services
Labour Market Policy Branch
remove the Women’s Co-ordination Unit from the Department of Family and Community Services and add it’ to the Ministry of Education, Youth and WOmen's Affairs;
remove the Statutory Board Directorate from the Department of School Education and add it to the Ministry of Education Youth and Women’s Affairs.
