AN ACT to further amend " The Constitution

Act, 1889."

.DE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. ON and after the first day of January, One thousand eight

Repeal of

hundred and ninety-five, the seventieth section of " The Constitution

Section 70 of

Act, 1889," and Schedule C of that Act, shall cease to have any

force or effect; and the funds necessary for the relief and for assisting generally to promote the preservation and well-being of the abori- ginal inhabitants of Western Australia shall be such as may be provided by Parliament from time to time.

I reserve this Bill for the signification of Her Majesty's

pleasure.
