An Act to apply a certain Sum out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales in aid of the City Funds of the Municipal Council of Sydney. [11th July,

1877.]

WHEREAS the Annual Grant of Ten thousand pounds in aid of the City Funds of the Municipal Council of Sydney was	payable to the said Council in the year One thousand eight hundred
and seventy-six And whereas the said sum was not so paid during the said year and has not since been paid by reason of its having been
transferred on thirtieth December One thousand eight hundred and
seventy-six to the credit of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales And whereas it is expedient that the said grant of Ten thousand pounds should be made good out of the said Consolidated Revenue Fund Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1. Out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales

there shall and may be issued and applied in aid of the City Funds of
the Municipal Council of Sydney the sum of Ten thousand pounds as the Grant in aid for the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy- six.
2. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said sum in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor by Warrants or Orders in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct And the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Colony.
3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be

allowed credit for all sums of money paid by him in pursuance of such

Warrants or Orders And the receipts of the respective persons to

whom the same shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to the said Treasurer in passing Lis said accounts for such sums as shall be therein mentioned and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
